Jacobsen Family Holdings was formed by Douglas Jacobsen and his father, Dr. Dennis Jacobsen in 1998. The company’s initial goal was to purchase and redevelop troubled properties in Stockton, California. The company’s first project was the assemblage and re-zoning of 10 acres of residential property. The company developed a new Safeway Grocery Store, Safeway Gas Station, Big Lots, and Blockbuster anchored shopping center. We have continued to develop retail and office projects throughout California. The various Jacobsen Family Holdings companies have developed real estate valued at over $450 million.
